Presentation Instructions

WICH General Presentation Instructions

All speakers are requested to load their presentations in the Speakers' Ready Room at least 3 hours before the start of their session. If your presentation is early in the morning, you are strongly encouraged to load your presentation the day before in order to avoid the early morning rush. The Speakers' Ready Room will be marked clearly with signage at the congress venue.

Please show respect to your fellow speakers, the chairs and the audience by keeping to the times outlined below:

Oral Presentation:

Oral Presentations have 10 minutes allocated – please prepare an 8 min presentation, leaving 2 min for questions. The projectionist will warn you after 7 minutes (1 minute warning).   If you prefer not to load your speech in the speaker ready room and wish to use your own computer, please be aware the clock will start counting down as soon as you get on the podium so any difficulty connecting will seriously impact the time you have available to talk.

Poster Presentation:

The accepted posters will be presented as e-posters.

All e-Posters will appear on plasma stations in the Poster Area at the exhibition area and are available for electronic viewing for participants at all times during the congress.

Posters should be prepared in pdf landscape format.

Abstract title, author(s) and affiliation(s) should appear on top of the poster.

All posters must be written entirely in English.

All poster presenters should send their poster in pdf format to email address aenes@kenes.com  by April 17th 2017.

The sooner you send your posters, the sooner they will be available to your peers.

Note: We prepared the short oral presentation with poster presentation instructions as below.

Please follow the link for "E-poster format".

Short Oral Presentations are grouped to allow time for discussion session after 4-5 talks. The session chair will invite all speakers to sit in the front row at the start of the session to facilitate changeover and speakers will NOT be able to use their own computers.

Posters are prepared according to the poster presentation instructions.
